Three-dimensional power spectrum of solar oscillations from observations by the Global Oscillation Network Group (GONG). These data are for sound waves with 30 to 150 wavelengths around the sun of varying latitudinal extent and periods of 4 to 12 minutes. Greater power is denoted by blue-green tones.
