 &nbsp\;
 The detection
  of gravitational waves and neutrinos emitted during the gravitational&nbs
 p\;collapse of a&nbsp\;massive star offers a unique window to understand t
 he&nbsp\;fundamental dynamics of core-collapse supernova (CCSN)&nbsp\;expl
 osions. Fluid&nbsp\;instabilities such as convection\, SASI (Standing&nbsp
 \;Accretion&nbsp\;Shock Instability) and the low T/|W|&nbsp\;instability p
 lay a crucial role in the onset of&nbsp\;the explosion\, leaving distincti
 ve signatures in&nbsp\;the&nbsp\;multi-messenger signals produced in the e
 arly&nbsp\;phase of the shock&nbsp\;expansion.&nbsp\;
 After presenting a
  general picture of our current undestanding\, I&nbsp\;will present recent
  3D numerical models of&nbsp\;magnetised CCSN\, which aim at&nbsp\;describ
 ing the formation of&nbsp\;magnetars and the&nbsp\;central engines of outs
 tanding stellar explosions&nbsp\;(e.g. hypernovae\, gamma-ray bursts\,&nbs
 p\;superluminous supernovae). I will&nbsp\;focus on the&nbsp\;impact of fa
 st rotation and strong magnetic fields&nbsp\;on&nbsp\;the development of l
 arge-scale non-axisymmetric instabilities&nbsp\;and the consequent&nbsp\;m
 odulation of the associated gravitational&nbsp\;wave&nbsp\;and neutrino si
 gnals. I will also briefly describe&nbsp\;the&nbsp\;connection of the mult
 i-messenger emission&nbsp\;to the nuclear composition&nbsp\;of the matter
 ejected&nbsp\;by the CCSN\, which is a key aspect to&nbsp\;understand the
 chemical evolution of the&nbsp\;Universe.
