I am Professor of Geophysics at the University of Nice Sophia Antipolis (France) in the "Geoazur" Earth Sciences laboratory. I am also a Fellow of the Institut Universitaire de France (IUF) and a permanent Guest Scientist at the Lawrence Berkeley National Laboratory, Earth Sciences Division, UC Berkeley (US). My research aims mainly at understanding better the role of fluids in the mechanics of the Earth’s crust, especially seismic and aseismic deformations. I am interested in developing new approaches combined from geophysical observations and hydromechanical modelling for the study of faulting, earthquakes, induced seismicity, and landslides.
